Vangov (Pty) Ltd ("Vangov", "we", "us") is a South African software company and the responsible party for personal information collected through vangov.com. We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

When you use our contact form or email us, we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Your company name, if you provide it
• The contents of your message

Our hosting and security providers also process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and request times, so that the site can be delivered securely and protected against abuse. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

• To respond to your enquiry and continue the conversation you started
• To protect the site and contact form from spam and abuse
• To meet our legal obligations

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers (operators) that help us run the site, under agreements that require them to keep it secure:

• Resend: delivers contact form submissions to our inbox
• Cloudflare: bot protection and site security
• Our email provider, which stores the emails you send us
• Our website hosting provider

Some of these providers process information outside South Africa. Where this happens, we rely on providers bound by data protection obligations that offer a level of protection comparable to POPIA, as required by section 72 of the Act.

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and maintain our business relationship with you, and then for no longer than 24 months unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and input validation, to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.

Under POPIA you have the right to:

• Ask whether we hold personal information about you, and request a copy of it
• Ask us to correct or delete your personal information
• Object to our processing of your personal information
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za)
